Product Details
Montclair's 200G QSFP56 SR4 transceiver is designed for 200 Gigabit Ethernet links over OM3/OM4/OM5 multimode fiber. It is compliant with the QSFP MSA and IEEE 802.3cd 200GBASE-SR4 specification. The transceiver offers digital diagnostics functions via the I2C interface as specified by CMIS V4.0, and is RoHS 2.0 compliant and lead-free per Directive 2011/65/EU.
As data traffic and heat flux from datacenter chips continue to grow, traditional air-cooling methods are under pressure. Liquid cooling technologies can remove heat more efficiently using dielectric fluids with high heat capacity, improving energy efficiency in datacenters.
However, the lack of optical transceivers that can reliably operate even when fully immersed in liquids up to 10m deep has been a challenge. Montclair's Liquid Cooling Optical Series transceivers are designed specifically for liquid-cooled server environments and are compatible with fluorinated liquids and mineral oils.
