DWDM 100Ghz Mux Demux Single Fiber
The DWDM Mux Demux single fiber bidirectional solution supports DWDM channels in both directions over a single simplex singlemode fiber. The principle difference between single fiber and dual fiber DWDM is the single fiber requires different wavelengths transmitted in either direction. A 4-channel DWDM single fiber system, for example, would require 8 different wavelength channels – The East (Mux/Tx) to West (Demux/Rx) direction would utilize 1560.61, 1558.98, 1557.36, 1555.75 wavelengths; The West (Mux/Tx) to East (Demux/Rx) direction would utilize 1559.79, 1558.17, 1556.56, 1554.94 wavelengths.
